While Perth Arena is primarily based around confirming touring events to ensure that Western Australia has the best opportunity to secure world-class entertainment, functions that are non-touring related can be offered dates on a case-by-case basis, working around the event calendar.
Wedding receptions and private functions can be held at Perth Arena with the exception of 18th and 21st Birthday celebrations, pending availability.
After receiving your enquiry, one of our experienced Sales Coordinators will be in touch via email or phone to discuss the details of your function. A proposal is then sent to you for consideration and if you would like to proceed with your booking, the booking correspondence will follow. Once a deposit and signed booking correspondence is received by us we will then commence coordinating your function with you.
The deposit is an estimate of 50% of the total worth of the event. The payment is requested within 14 days of receiving the booking correspondence.
Written notice is required for all function cancellations, with the period of notice provided determining the necessary cancellation fees and charges. In most cases we will offer you the opportunity to select an alternative date to which we will roll the deposit.
We have five versatile function rooms that surround the Main Arena which are available to hire when there isn't an event scheduled in the Main Arena. Choose from the Granite Room, Indigo Room, Ground Floor Lounge, American Express Invites Lounge or Reveley Room. A minimum of 35 guests applies.
Yes, the Main Arena can be hired for your corporate event pending availability (within 10 weeks prior to the function date). The Main Arena has a maximum capacity of 13,000 guests for theatre style seating, 2,500 guests for a cocktail style event and 1,650 for a sit down banquet.
Yes! We do have outside areas available for hire as a standalone function space or in conjunction with one of our ground floor function rooms - Granite Room, Ground Floor Lounge and Indigo Room. Click here for more information.
Function room hire rates are determined after considering a number of key factors - date, number of attendees, food and beverage requirements and duration of the function. We like to tailor our proposals based on our client’s specific needs.

We do have an in-house catering division as outside catering cannot be brought onto the premises. There are on occasions exceptions to the rule in instances where food or wine ‘tastings’ will be considered. We are committed to delivering the very best in food, beverage and service.
Yes, we have a large load-in area located off Market St that can be accessed with prior request. The loading dock is capable of receiving 4 semi-trailers side-by-side with a layup area for more in the service yard. Perth Arena also has a 4 height adjustable loading ramp to assist with loading and unloading trailers/trucks for your function. Forklifts and drivers can be arranged with prior notice.

Perth Arena has a 680 bay car park located under the venue which includes ACROD bays. As the car park is managed by us, we are able to offer up to four complimentary parking passes per function. Access is via both Milligan and Market Streets and has a clearance of 2.3m. Click here for more information.

Yes, all areas of Perth Arena including the car park, function rooms, guest lifts and entrances are fully accessible. Dedicated restroom facilities have been designed for guests with special needs and are easily accessible on every level. Service Animals (trained Guide Dogs) are always welcome at Perth Arena.
Yes. Our ticketing agent is Ticketek and applicable fees/charges will depend on the ticket price and number of tickets expected to be sold. A public transport levy may also apply to each ticket for the provision of public transport services (price subject to change).  

A registration to a training course, conference, dinner etc is not considered a ticketed event as the ticket has not been sold.
