|Breast Cancer Care WA is a not for profit organisation that provides personalised emotional, practical and financial support and services to men and women affected by breast cancer, their carers and their families.
Receiving no government funding, Breast Cancer Care WA relies on the generosity of the WA community in order to provide its range of services at no charge.
Every person has a unique experience with breast cancer, so we provide tailored support with our range of services designed to alleviate some of the stresses that may be faced after diagnosis, during treatment and in the long term.
Zoe McAlpine, CEO of Breast Cancer Care WA said, “We are thrilled to have been chosen as a Perth Arena community partner and be working together to create and support opportunities that raise vital funds for Western Australians affected by breast cancer.”
Breast Cancer Care WA will be the recipient of proceeds from the 2016 Perth Arena Golden Ticket. This ultimate prize gives two tickets to each event for a year starting November 10; the anniversary of when Perth Arena first opened its doors back in 2012. For just $10 a ticket, you could see some of the biggest names in music, entertainment and sporting.
Jillian Shiels, General Manager of Breast Cancer Care WA explained how vital these funds would be.
“We are thrilled to have Perth Arena’s support. The Golden Ticket is such an incredible prize and the funds raised will ensure we can continue to provide free of charge support to Western Australians affected by breast cancer.”
“It is only thanks to the generosity of the community that Breast Cancer Care WA can continue to help over 1,000 women and their families every year”.
Tickets in the Golden Ticket raffle will go on sale at 9am on Monday, 3 October. Purchases can be made online at www.goldenticket.net.au or by contacting the Breast Cancer Care WA office on (08) 9324 3703. The Golden Ticket raffle closes at midnight on 30 October 2016.
